Mark has been named Group CEO of Tenet's Palm Beach Market. The announcement was made by Eric Evans, Tenet's President of Hospital Operations.

In addition to their existing responsibilities, group CEO's will work with all market and hospital CEO's, and will be tasked with driving a consistent strategy, and enhancing the quality, safety, compliance, and patient experience within the groups.

Mark has been CEO of Delray Medical Center since August 2010. He is immediate past Chairman of the South Florida Hospital and Healthcare Association Board of Directors, and a board member for the Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce, the Work Force Alliance of Palm Beach County, and the Florida Atlantic University GME Consortium.

During Mark’s tenure with Tenet from 1995 to 2004, he held various roles including Vice President of Operations for the Florida Region, CEO of Good Samaritan Medical Center and Vice President of Operations for the Palm Beach Market. Mark is originally from Tampa, Florida where he began his career as a CPA with Ernst & Young.

Mark received his master’s in healthcare administration from The University of Alabama at Birmingham, School of Health Related Professions and a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Florida State University’s College of Business.
