Good Samaritan plans $1 million upgrade for ER

Apr 17, 2022

sheriWe recognize that no one plans to need to go to the emergency room, but when you need one, we are here, in two convenient locations. Providing care in an upscale, comfortable environment is a long-standing tradition at Good Samaritan, and we are excited to share that plans are in place to make the emergency room at our main hospital location even better! We are in the permitting phase of a $1 million upgrade to our emergency room. Once completed, patients entering our facility will be immersed in a calming waiting area, and receive award-winning care in private, fully upgraded treatment rooms outfitted with special touches of home. These renovations were designed with our community in mind and are meant to help make an emergency feel less stressful. Featuring some of the latest design finishes and amenities, we are excited to unveil the new Good Samaritan ER to our community later this year.

In addition to our main campus ER, we also have another location in West Palm Beach that also features a warm and inviting environment. The Emergency Center in West Palm Beach is dedicated to 24-hour emergency care and offers the same high quality treatment and diagnostic services of our hospital emergency department. Staffed by board-certified emergency room physicians and specially trained clinicians, the Emergency Center in West Palm Beach also features upgraded private treatment rooms. Complete, convenient emergency care that never closes.

The Emergency Center offers the most convenient high-level healthcare services:

  • Adult and non-acute walk-in pediatric care
  • Advanced CT scan, X-ray and ultrasound imaging
  • Laboratory and pharmacy services
  • Respiratory care
  • Ambulance access

Like the emergency room at our main campus, the Emergency Center of West Palm is equipped to treat a wide range of emergency needs. The center is equipped to handle serious conditions including:

  • Lacerations, sprains, bruises, strains and pain
  • Sport injuries and broken bones
  • Dehydration
  • Abdominal pain
  • Moderate to severe respiratory distress
  • Head injuries
  • Chest pain
  • Walk-in acute stroke care
  • Walk-in acute cardiac care
  • Walk-in pediatric care

We are proud to offer the same 24-hour treatment services at both of our emergency rooms with a strong focus on your comfort. Come see us at:

Good Samaritan Medical Center, 1309 N. Flagler Drive, West Palm Beach, 33401
