Pinecrest Rehabilitation Hospital is an acute rehabilitation unit at Delray Medical Center. We have been dedicated to providing the community with extensive rehabilitation services for over 35 years. Our hospital provides advanced therapy techniques to help patients recover after an accident, stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, orthopedic injury, disease or surgery.

At Pinecrest Rehabilitation and Outpatient Hospital we offer a wide range of therapy services. We provide a caring, family-oriented environment where individuals who have suffered an illness or injury have the opportunity to rebuild their lives and achieve their highest level of functional independence.

Rehabilitation Services: As a comprehensive rehabilitation program we offer a wide range of therapy services on both an inpatient and outpatient basis. Family Participation & Support Groups: Family members are encouraged to become involved in the recovery process so they are included right from the start. We also offer a variety of support groups and educational programs to help patients and families cope with the stress of a major injury or illness.

Inpatient Rehabilitation: Our specialized, interdisciplinary adult rehabilitation programs utilize a team approach to care, all under the guidance of a Rehabilitation Physician called a Physiatrist. Our team of licensed professionals also include: Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech/Language Pathologists, Hand Therapists, Neuropsychologists, Therapeutic Recreational Therapists, Rehabilitation Nurses, Psychologists, Nutritionists and Case Managers. After a thorough assessment by our team, patients receive a customized treatment program to help them return to their homes and communities.

Outpatient Therapy: Pinecrest offers a broad array of outpatient therapy services to meet the needs of our patients including: physical, occupational, speech and hand therapy, as well as psychological services. We specialize in both neurological and orthopedic injuries.

Vestibular (Balance/Dizziness/ Concussion) Rehabilitation: The Vestibular System helps provide balance and movement. Problems affecting this system can cause dizziness, vision problems, loss of balance, muscle coordination, and vertigo. Pinecrest has developed a specialized program to help patients identify and treat Vestibular Disorders.
